Do you remember when you were in high school?  Almost nothing felt as important as fitting in with your peers.  Having the "right" clothes and school supplies could make all the difference in your level of confidence and self-esteem. Perhaps you also can recall how sports and extracurricular activities helped you develop new interests and build friendships.  Imagine how you might feel if you were unable to participate in class trips or sports because you could not afford the fees.  Teens with Promise wants every youth to have a fulfilling experience in school.

   THIS HOLIDAY SEASON



Coach Troy Calhoun and Georgiann Lymberopoulos teamed up with Teens with Promise to help over 500 youth receive holiday gifts.  Teens were able to come into the Teens with Promise "Winter Wonderland" and shop of a gift.  

Thank you to all the WONDERFUL PEOPLE who joined in to make this holiday season a special for many struggling youth.

Teens with Promise operates a "Teen Shop" dedicated to providing teenagers with the supplies they need to start and stay in school at no cost to the student.  Schools, shelters, social service agencies and other professionals are able to make a referral for a student to come and shop for needed clothes, shoes, schools supplies and sports equipment in a store like setting.  Through caring staff and dedicated volunteers, Children of Promise ensures the social, emotional, and academic development of our youth.  The goal is to empower youth to be physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy and ready to enter adulthood.
