Do you remember when you were in high school? Almost nothing felt as important as fitting in with your peers.  Having the “right” clothes and school supplies could make all the difference in your level of confidence and self-esteem.  Perhaps you also can recall how sports and extracurricular activities helped you develop new interests and build friendships.   Imagine how you might have felt if you were unable to participate in class trips or sports because you were unable to afford the fees.  Teens with Promise wants every child to have a fulfilling high school experience.

Teens with Promise is a 501(c)3 charitable, nonprofit organization with a mission of enhancing development and building resiliency among disadvantaged and emancipated teens in the Colorado Springs area. The charity operates a volunteer-based office dedicated to providing teenagers with the supplies they need to start and stay in school.  Teens with Promise understands that many disadvantaged youth would rather skip school than tell a friend or peer that they cannot afford school supplies, they cannot afford clothes, or they don’t have the money to join the soccer team. Through caring staff and dedicated volunteers, Teens with Promise ensures the social, emotional, and academic development of our youth.  The goal is to empower youth to be physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy and ready to enter adulthood.
