Not all kids have the opportunity to develop
 their potential.

Teens with Promise is a 501(c)3 charitable, nonprofit organization with a mission of enhancing development and building resiliency among disadvantaged and homeless teens in the Colorado Springs area. The charity operates a volunteer-based office dedicated to providing teenagers with the supplies they need to start and stay in school.  Teens with Promise understands that many disadvantaged youth would rather skip school than tell a friend or peer that they cannot afford school supplies, they cannot afford clothes, or they don’t have the money to join the soccer team. Through caring staff and dedicated volunteers, Teens with Promise ensures the social, emotional, and academic development of our youth.  The goal is to empower youth to be physically, emotionally, and mentally healthy and ready to enter   adulthood.

An estimated 10-12% of El Paso county’s youth are living in poverty. This figure translates to more than 20,000 needy youth
in our community. Among this low income group, one out of every ten teens will drop out of high school before graduation and more than half will experience homelessness.
